Great product, fast shipping, and packed well.
Healthy, beautiful plants arrived in pristine condition.
Everything arrive in great shape. Leather sedge Firefox is healthy and looks to have taken well to planting in rocks around pond area.
By far the sedges sent by The Greenhouse exceeded the quality and beauty of my local plant nursery. Firefox sedges are the focal point of my deer infested front garden.
I have ordered from multiple nurseries online and The Greenhouse is by far the best. The plants arrived all the way from Oregon to Georgia expertly packed, and in perfect condition. They have all been transplanted and are healthy and thriving. Super impressed!
Packed with extreme care they arrived in super shape ready for this Texas heat. They are beautiful, hoping they like it here, I'll plant where water is plentifull.
not only did the Sedge arrive in perfect shape, it was bigger than I expected
My plants are hanging on for dear life in this hot climate. It was not clear on the site of the plants were drought resistant or not. In the future, that would be helpful to note if the plants are drought tolerant or not.
Hi Jeremy,
I just sent you an email. We do put drought tolerant on our plants that are under their characteristics. Unfortunately the leatherleaf is not drought tolerant and has average watering needs. Especially as it gets established it will need soil checks and regular watering. :)
Great product. Great delivery. Thank you!
I LOVE this ornamental grass, arrived well-packed, accurate plant size and healthy. It's been 2 weeks and the Leatherleaf is doing great in our (7a) climate zone, even with some overnight lows below freezing. I ordered 6 and have kept all of them in pots on our covered front porch - my goal is to plant them in the ground late Feb/early March. For now, these grasses are adding great interest to my porch; with flowers out of season, it's nice to have the lovely copper color of this sedge. I will likely order more, and would highly recommend.
