DESCRIPTION

Dianthus 'Firewitch,' Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Firewitch', is part of the commonly called, 'Cheddar Pinks.' Through late spring and early summer it will be covered in a plethora of magenta flowers. Mat forming and slightly creeping, Dianthus 'Firewitch' can be planted to provide a flowering groundcover. The blue-green, grassy foliage is attractive on its own and gives this perennial a well deserved spot in a highly visible border. It also makes a colorful addition to rock gardens and containers where it trails nicely and requires little maintenance.
