I bought this last summer as well as one other rose from this company and it came delivered in great condition. Long story short after planting and adding rose fertilizer it was not growing. Exchanged a couple emails with the company and they gave me suggestions to try and fix the issue. It died after trying all suggestions from company (moving plant to different location, watering suggestions, and nutrients to give it) and all I received was a partial refund. I live in southern VA and have bought several hundreds of dollars worth of plants from this company in the past and have never had this issue before. I think a partial refund is a joke.
We issued a full refund for the Honey Dijon that didn't survive and in our last emails we were talking about ways to perk up your KoKo but we never heard back from you so we assumed it worked and responded well to the change in care. I am sorry to hear that wasn't the case. If you'd like to reach out with a photo of the KoKo we are happy to send a refund or a replacement for that as well. You can contact us at hello@thegreenhousepnw.com amd we are happy to help! :)
Got it few weeks ago and did not get the chance to transplant it. It took me more than a week to plant it since I got it and when the day that I can, I was surprised cause it’s not only growing more leaves but also it bloomed. The bloom is still tiny of course but the plant is way healthy and beautiful. It’s beyond what I expected!!!
More of a question actually, if I purchase now will it come leafless?
Very small plant, root system also small. Some issues with FedEX notification. I like to support small businesses so I gave this vendor a try.
Hello!
Thanks for taking time to leave a review! Our Own roots have a more delicate root system than that of a grafted rose will which can make them appear small for their size but this is totally normal for a KoKo LoKo rose. :) Please reach out to hello@thegreenhousepnw.com if there is anything we can help with!
I am hoping this will grow and spread out. Honestly I was very disappointed in the size of this rose plant.
Thanks for taking time to leave a review. With them arriving defoliated they can appear smaller upon arrival. Once planted in full sun and returned to daily base watering it should quickly return to leafing out and putting on growth this season. If there is ever a concern or question pleas reach out to hello@thegreenhousepnw.com and we are happy to help! :)
My roses arrived in perfect condition...and I was very happy with my purchase!!
It came totally protected and in great condition. The instructions are clear so I’ve been trying to let it acclimatize in my zone for the last week and it’s doing great and already growing new sprouts. Very happy purchase as I was unable to find this color at my local store.
There is no description about disease or smell. Can someone help me out?
Kinda disappointed in how small the canes and plant is overall. It did arrive healthy and well packaged just hope it grows into a more stronger mature rose!
This is my first purchase from The Greenhouse. They’re one of the only online sellers who have stock of Koko Loko and Distant Drums and will ship to CA. The roses arrived well wrapped and protected and within 3 days of my purchase. However, it is important to note that both plants were small and have very juvenile canes. They’re one gallon. It’s going to take both plants awhile to reach full maturity and stability. I will keep an eye on them and update with pictures :) I’m not too worried I’ve had both adult varieties before. I’m just happy to have them again!
