    DESCRIPTION

Dianthus 'Tiny Rubies', is part of the commonly called, 'Cheddar Pink' perennials. Abundant, rich pink flowers delight all who see this plant in bloom during spring and summer. When the majority of blooms are spent, light shearing can be applied to encourage more flowering and thicker foliage growth. Dianthus 'Tiny Rubies' looks especially attractive as a border species in front of roses or low growing evergreens. It can be planted in full sun to fill in rock wall crevices, or quaintly tucked into a seaside rock garden as a beautiful accent.

    SHIPPING DETAILS

    Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

    Purchased for a delighted friend

My sweet friend doesn’t live near me any more and I wanted to get her a housewarming gift. Her mama’s name was Ruby, so the “Tiny Rubies” was a perfect choice. When the plant arrived she called me and was so happy, it arrived on time, and in great shape. Great purchase.

    It's NOT dead!!😀

I purchased Dianthus last year and planted it in a rock yard in Colorado. It looked horrible and dead but I started watering it 3 weeks ago daily and all 4 plants put out green shoots just now. When should I remove the dead parts?

I followed all the directions for planting, and it is all brown, looks dead.

I wish I. Could give a positive review for the plants I've ordered from The Greenhouse but I can't. The first couple of orders I received were in terrible condition but I planted them anyway. You did replace the lilacs which was greatly appreciated. I assumed that my plants would be shipped at the appropriate time for planting in my area of the country however even though I only order plants designated for my area (9) of the country, all but two of the plants have arrived brown and brittle or have died after planting according to planting instructions. I was especially excited to be able to get the creeping pilot to plant in my rock garden and every one of them is dead. I water in the evening after the sun goes down and place slow release fertilizer tablets in the hole with the fresh planting medium. Because I leave in the desert southwest, it is necessary for me to mulch in order to keep the root system moist. I pray that once cooler weather arrives, with me keeping the roots moist that my plants will rejuvenate. I have spent a great deal of money landscaping my property and at this point it looks like I may have wasted my money and time planning my landscaping.

Please email me with any concerns at hello@thegreenhousepnw.com
