    DESCRIPTION

Flamingo Strawberry is a distinctive cultivar celebrated for its blush-pink skin, red seeds, and tropical flavor profile. Developed by Five Aces Breeding, this variety combines the aroma and juiciness of wild strawberries with enhanced shelf life, making it suitable for both home gardeners and small-scale growers.

    Fruit Characteristics:

    • Small to medium-sized berries with light pink skin and red seeds

    • Juicy, sweet-tart flavor with hints of pineapple and wild strawberry

    • Firm texture, ideal for fresh eating, desserts, and preserves

    • Aromatic with a fragrant bouquet

    Plant Attributes:

    • Compact growth habit, reaching 6–8 inches tall and spreading 12–24 inches

    • Produces white flowers in late spring, reducing risk of frost damage

    • June-bearing with a harvest period of about four weeks

    • Self-pollinating; suitable for USDA Zones 4–9

    • Yields up to ½ pound of fruit per linear foot in matted row systems

    Cultivation Tips:

    • Plant in full sun with well-drained soil

    • Space plants 18 inches apart with 3–4 feet between rows

    • Allow runners to form a dense mat for best yields

    • Water consistently and mulch to retain moisture and protect fruit

Flamingo Strawberry stands out for its unique color and tropical flavor, making it a striking and delicious addition to edible landscapes, containers, and specialty gardens.

    SHIPPING DETAILS

    Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.
