Irritating

Why is it the mail order companies make it so difficult to find a phone number to call them and actually talk to somebody and ask questions? I have questions I need answered before I plant. I ordered flame grass saying it would grow in my zone but on my garden app which said it was flame grass, grow in 10 to 12 hardiness zone so they will die here.
