    DESCRIPTION

Porcupine Grass (Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus') is a statement piece with its spikey, upright habit and banded green and gold leaves. Reddish-bronze flowers top off this large perennial at up to 9' tall during late summer and fall. Porcupine Grass, Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus' doesn't ask for much but a lot of sun. Place in the fence corner, or mixed border for a bold presentation of color and architectural interest in your landscape throughout the year.

    SHIPPING DETAILS

    Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

Looking strong even in our droght

Everything arrived looking good and well packed. Root balls had entirely filled the containers, but not at a level that took significant effort to free up. Only small problem is it shipped so quick we were still out of town when it arrived. Still looked great when we got home two days later and opened everything. Plants look great. I have been watering, but they haven't had any natural help and still look great (2 weeks?).

it arrived, looks dead, so hard to review as of now?

have to wait and see if/when it blooms?

Or porcupine are just waking up so there should be green growth showing in addition to last years cut down foliage. :) If there ever is a question or concern please reach out to hello@thegreenhousepnw.com and we are happy to help!

    Porcupine Grass

Very pleased with both the plants and the service. Plants were packaged with great care and were very healthy upon arrival. This was our second order and will definitely be ordering in the future.

The plants arrived within 10 days or so and they were ok due to how well they were packed. Don’t worry about the shipping interval. Plants were immediately unpacked, watered and let out in the sun for a day which perked them right up. We planted them as directed and so far, so good 😊

    Arrived in great shape

It’s looking good in the ground. Now I can’t wait until next spring or whenever it gets warm and it
    gets to start growing.
