DESCRIPTION
Blue Fescue, Festuca glauca, is a little gem of a perennial. With a maximum height of 6 - 12 inches, this hardy ornamental grass is perfect for rock gardens, borders and is sometimes used as a stepable. Blue Fescue has foliage that lives up to its name. This true-blue grass makes a pleasing contrast with more common surrounding green foliage. The low growth and upright structure also provides textural contrast against larger leafed species as it spreads and fills in nicely.
