As tough-sounding as its name, this native plant cultivar doesn't flop after heavy rains, likes moist soil but tolerates drought and overwinters in style. A garden should stimulate all the senses, and this grass provides music for your ears with its rustling foliage. Attractive, pink-tinged flowers ripen into golden seed heads, and though dormant, the plant maintains its upright form throughout the winter.

The large plants came in pots, very nicely packed. Already in the ground.

Do not plant in heat of Summer

Plants arrived in in good condition. Planted in clay soil and have watered regularly. Could not tolerate either the sun or Texas heat. Lost them all.

The grass arrived in good condition. I am hopeful they will grow. Growing plants on the mountain can be a hit or miss. The Greenhouse Nursery has been awesome.
