    DESCRIPTION

Soft to the touch and easy on the eyes! Silver Mound Artemisia adds interest to any border, lining a path or mixed in with your favorite grasses for a modern touch. Great for dryer areas and rock gardens. The silvery green foliage has fern like greenery and grows in a mound shape with a spread of 10-15 inches in width and 8-10 inches high.

Plant Artemisia ‘Silver Mound’ in full sun. Plant in zones 4 to 8.

Excellent foliage for arranging flowers, but does not flower and is deer resistant!

Artemisia is a fast growing plant and can be trimmed during the summer if needed, new foliage will grow out quickly. Prune back to 5-6" in early spring or late fall for clean up.

    SHIPPING DETAILS

    Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

    Happy with the artemisia plants

Came well packaged and in pretty good condition. So far, they seem to be doing well in the ground. Overall happy with the plants.

    nice plant

This was the first time ordering from The Greenhouse. The plant was a nice size, not a little piece and I followed instructions to water and set it out for a day before planting. When I did plant I put it in the sun so I had to water well for a couple of days. Now it is standing up and looking good.

    It's unique.

I live in the High Desert with a desert-scape front yard. If you like unique plants, try this one. After its first winter, it looked dead. I talked my gardener into leaving it alone to see if it would come back. It did and flourished. The second winter, It hadn't been cut back and it was better established so it didn't die (and we had snow). Now it's in the beginning of its second summer. This is what it's become with no trimming. This winter I will cut it back because I like the size it is right now, about 6' wide x 18" high. Though I wouldn't call it aggressive, it does grow faster than typical plants.

    Disappointed

I was so eager to get these plants down, had a total of 15 items in my order. They arrived wilted, per instructions I watered and waited for them to perk up...still nothing. They’re planted and I’m hoping for the best but doesn’t look like much is going to happen. Bummed.
