DESCRIPTION

Concorde Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Concorde') has pretty yellow flowers during spring, but no one seems to notice when compared to its outstanding deep purple foliage! This deciduous gem stays small, making it perfect for that formal garden or entryway, as a low growing hedge where its rich color only gets more intense through fall. Concorde Japanese Barberry can be put in the garden where it will compliment ornamental grasses and yarrow with its deep contrasting color.
