DESCRIPTION

Coral Beauty Cotoneaster, Cotoneaster dammeri 'Coral Beauty', is most notably known for its profusion of fall ornamental berries. This low growing, spreading shrub blooms pretty white flowers throughout spring. The lush, glossy foliage carries it through summer before coral-red berries burst on to the scene. As a low growing, spreading shrub, Coral Beauty Cotoneaster is often used as a dense groundcover. Its extensive root system makes it suitable for hillsides and rock gardens. Simply prune back prostrate branches to keep it more shrub-like, or if a more refined border is desired.

The plants were not delivered before the week-end, so they remained in the shipping facility until they were delivered on Tuesday morning. They were a bit dry and had some leaf fall but we planted them the day after they arrived so we hope they will survive and flourish. So far, so good. Their root system appeared well established and they had some white blossoms on them. We were pleased with everything except for the shipping piece. I wish they had arrived by Friday of the week we ordered them instead of spending three days without light and water.
