DESCRIPTION

Carex oshimensis 'Evergold' grows in golden tufts with its arching grass-like foliage. Yellow blades with deep green margins give the plant its name and provide long lasting garden beauty. It's a great choice to enhance moist areas along ponds or rain gardens where it can also tolerate some shade. Carex oshimensis 'Evergold' is an inviting specimen when edging a woodland path, or use them in mass along an embankment where its graceful blades will cascade to form a mounding sea of gold and green.
