DESCRIPTION

Variegated Feather Reed Grass, Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Overdam' always looks great with its cream and white foliage and narrow, compact habit. Its silky tan flower heads come to life in summer before this ornamental grass turns a beautiful gold for autumn. Use Variegated Feather Reed Grass where you have a narrow space that needs an accent. Planted among mounded and spreading shrubs it will show off the vertical contrast nicely. Use the flowers for dried arrangements as they are quite showy and cut back stems in spring just before new growth emerges.

Healthy beautiful plants

Through no fault of the shipper, FedEx delivered to the wrong house. After combing the neighborhood and checking in various places, I finally located my box of plants. I just knew they would be dead, given the substantial delay. (FedEex of course couldn’t/wouldn’t help). But, I opened the box and gave the slightly wilted plants a drink and a bit of sun and they perked you and are now completely gorgeous. The purpose of this story is that less healthy, less robust, less well-packaged plants probably would have bit the dust. These didn’t and now they look fantastic! Thank you!!
