Hellebores are shade loving plants that have a clump growing habit. They’re the first to bloom in winter in most areas and are commonly called the Lenten rose. Helleborus 'Flower Girl' produces double petals in a blush pink and white hue, flowering from February into late spring eventually turning a deeper pink and then a beautiful light green/pink. Even after they’re done flowering you’ll have their dark green webbed like leaves providing greenery year round.

For planting, hellebores love well drained soil and the roots will rot easily if the soil is too wet. They have long fleshy roots so prefer soil that has been cultivated deep with manure well below their roots. Hellebores take a few years to become established so don't harvest too much those first two years. Plant in a well shaded area for them to thrive.

Hellebores come in an array of beautiful moody colors which makes them one of my favorite flowers. We love the deep mauve & dusty pinks! No need to prune these beauties, you can just remove any damaged leaves in winter before they start budding.

For vase life, after cutting immediately place stems into boiling water for 30 seconds. It’s also helpful to harvest the blooms once they’ve started producing their seed pods in the center.

Leaves, stems and roots are poisonous.

    Shipping Methods

Orders will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery.

Orders are generally in route for 2-5 business days (depending on where you live).

We are sticklers about packaging and shipping your order in a way that guarantees healthy plants upon arrival. If plants are damaged on arrival, just let us know and we'll send you new ones or offer a full refund.

All of our plants are container grown and shipped with the soil and roots fully intact. We DO NOT ship your plants bare-root. Being shipped as a containered plant greatly reduces the risk of the plant not surviving the transit to your home.

    Non delivery

I regret the non-delivery of the flowers I ordered on 30th of March. I waited the whole day. I asked Fedex this morning based on the FedEx tracking no. and was told that I won’t receive it until Tuesday. Please explain why and what happened. How can the plants sit in the package for so many days. They may not survive.
