This is an extremely durable evergreen shrub that hugs the ground with trailing branches. Planted on a hillside or rock garden, its aesthetic beauty will be noticed throughout the season. It is also very effectively used with upright, broadleaf plants to contrast texture. Use purple species near to pull out the subtle plum hues Blue Rug Juniper often displays. Easy to grow and maintain, this gorgeous plant is tough enough for a seacoast garden escape and trouble-free enough for the busy gardener.
