DESCRIPTION

Northern Lights, Deschampsia 'Northern Lights', is a low growing ornamental grass with variegated foliage. Its affinity for medium to wet soil conditions and strong root structure makes it extremely desirable for stream banks and rock gardens. The dramatic foliage and summer blooms of Deschampsia 'Northern Lights' provide a long season of color and texture. Being native to Northern America, this species is also wonderfully used in borders to define a naturalistic or prairie-like setting.

Everything was good!

Followed directions for holding and planting and 2 weeks later they look great in my planter box.

Northern lights grass.

They look dead. I planted them second day after they were delivered. Followed instructions upon them delivered. Set out second day. I checked them today and the grass blades are easily pulled off. Hoping they make it. All three look like straw.

Not sure if it’s alive or not. It seems to be, but it also looks dormant (straw color). And hasn’t grown in size since I planted it

They were a combination of brown and green when they arrived almost a month ago. Now they're more brown than green. I'm not sure they're going to make it!
