DESCRIPTION

Soft Touch Compact Holly, Ilex crenata 'Soft Touch', has a supple texture that is similar to Boxwood. This little evergreen grows dense foliage and rarely gets taller than 3' making the practice of pruning nearly obsolete. Its affinity for warmer weather and low maintenance needs makes Soft Touch Compact Holly a staple for many residential and commercial landscapes in southerly climates. Glossy green leaves last year-round while abundant black berries add even greater winter significance.
